(together with its affiliates, “ORO Labs,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) is and our information practices, meaning how and why we collect, use, disclose, share, store, and retain your personal information with respect to your use of the ORO Labs platform, through the ORO Labs website, desktop and mobile application (together, the “Services”).
It also explains your rights in relation to your personal information and how to contact us or supervisory authorities in the event you have a complaint or request.

The ORO Labs website, platform, products and services are intended for use by organizations and the individuals acting on their behalf. Our offerings are not intended for personal, family, or household use. Accordingly, any personal information we collect is processed in connection with an individual’s professional role or relationship with an organization, rather than in a purely personal context.

When you use the ORO Labs website, platform, products and services, we collect, use, and are responsible for certain personal information about you. If you are a user based in the European Economic Area (EEA), we are subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), which applies across the entire European Union. For California consumers, we are subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA). In the United Kingdom, we are subject to the UK GDPR (United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation) and the Data Protection Act, 2018. We are responsible as a "controller" of that personal information for the purposes of the GDPR. We are responsible for your personal information as a "business" under the CCPA/CPRA.


This Policy does not apply to: (i) information we process as a data processor or service provider on behalf of your customers. For example, we may, on behalf of your employer, request that you provide us with access to personal information such as your location. Our use of such personal information is governed by the terms of our agreement with such customer/ organization. ORO Labs does not control how customers use information ORO Labs processes on their behalf, and you should consult with the applicable customer to understand how they use information they receive from ORO Labs and to exercise your rights with regard to your personal information.

Before you use or submit any information through or in connection with the Services, please carefully review this Policy. By using any part of the Services, you acknowledge that ORO Labs will collect, use, and disclose your information as further outlined in this Policy. We will continue to evaluate this Policy as we update and expand the Services and our offerings, and we may make changes to the Policy accordingly. Any changes will be posted here and you should check this page periodically for updates. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will provide you with prior notice as required by law. Your continued use of the Services will signify acceptance of the terms of the updated policy.

Information we collect

We collect information in multiple ways, including when you provide information directly to us, and when we passively collect information from you, such as from your browser or device.

Collection of Personal Information

We may collect personal information about you in a variety of ways when you interact with the ORO Labs platform and related services, including when you visit or use our website, desktop applications, and mobile applications, or otherwise engage with our services. We may also collect information when you communicate with us through these channels, including for support, inquiries, or feedback.

In addition, we may collect personal information when you participate in any online communities, blogs, discussion forums, or similar interactive features that we host or make available. If you choose to subscribe to our newsletters, updates, or other communications, or register for and attend events organized by us—whether independently, in partnership with others, or sponsored by us—we may collect relevant personal information in connection with such activities.

We may also obtain personal information about you from third-party sources. These sources may include publicly available databases, third-party data providers, affiliate and alliance partners, marketing partners, and business intelligence platforms. We may combine this information with the information we collect directly from you to improve our services, enhance user experience, and support our business operations.

Information Collected Directly from you

When you request a demo we will collect your work email address and company name. We will use this information to contact you regarding setting up a demo. We will not use this information for any other purpose.

Information that is passively or automatically collected

Device/Usage Information

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site. 

Tracking Technologies

ORO Labs and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions on our website or service

How we use your information

We may use the information we collect from and about you for the following purposes

We may also apply technical, administrative, and contractual safeguards designed to prevent de-identified information from being used to re-identify individuals.

We may use de-identified and/or aggregated data for any purpose, including without limitation for research and marketing purposes, and may also share such data with any third parties, including advertisers, promotional partners, sponsors, and/or others.

Sharing

ORO Labs may disclose and/or share your information to or with any non-affiliated third parties under the following circumstances

  • We may share your information with third-party business partners, for instance, for the purpose of enhancing our products and services or so that they can market their products or services to you.  If you do not want us to share your personal information with these companies, contact us at privacy@orolabs.ai
  • Consent: We may disclose your information to any third parties based on your consent to do so. For example, if you are seeking new or additional services, with your consent, we may send relevant information about you to potential partners.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties who provide services on our behalf to help with our business activities.  These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us. These services may include sending marketing communications, fulfilling subscription services, conducting research and analysis
  • We may store personal information in internal third-party marketing, customer relationship management (“CRM”) programs and mail-management software to facilitate interactions with Users or potential customers and for our sales and marketing purposes. In all situations where we disclose personal information to third parties acting as service providers or "agents" acting on our behalf, we require the recipient to adequately protect personal information and treat it as confidential.
  • Your Employer(s) : While you are employed by a particular employer that is a customer of ORO Labs and using an account pursuant to our agreement with that customer, we may provide or your employer may be able to directly view your profile information, shift information, and other information about your use of and engagement with the Services as it relates to your employment by that customer.
  • Protection of ORO Labs and Others : You acknowledge, consent, and agree that ORO Labs may access, preserve, and disclose your information and/or any User Content you submit or make available for inclusion on the Services, if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access, preservation, or disclosure is permitted by ORO Labs’s Privacy Policy or reasonably necessary or appropriate for any of the following reasons: (1) to comply with legal process; (2) to enforce these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or other contracts with you, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (3) to respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties; (4) to respond to your requests for customer service; and/or (5) to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of ORO Labs, its agents and affiliates, its users, and the public. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection, and spam/malware prevention, and similar purposes.
Legal
  • In certain situations, ORO Labs may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
  • We may also disclose your personal information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request: If ORO Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website, of any change in ownership, uses of your personal information, and choices you may have regarding your personal information. We may also disclose your personal information to any other third party with your prior consent.
  • Public Forums : Our Services may offer community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. Please also remember that if you choose to provide information on such features of the Services, individuals reading such information may use or disclose it to other individuals or entities without our control and without your knowledge, and search engines may index that information. Analytics and advertising

Analytics: We may use third-party web analytics services on our Services, such as those of Google Analytics. These service providers use the sort of technology previously described in the “Cookies ORO LABS INC and other electronic technologies” section to help us analyze how users use the Services, including by noting the third-party website from which you arrive, and provide certain features to you. We may use these service providers to collect on a real-time basis information on how you use and navigate our websites. This may include mouse movements and how you scroll through our website, but we do not collect keystroke data. The information (including your IP address) collected by the technology will be disclosed to or collected directly by these service providers, who use the information to evaluate your use of the Services. If you receive email from us, we may use certain tools, such as clear GIFs to capture data such as when you open our message or click on any links or banners our email contains. Advertising: We may partner with third parties to display advertising on our website or to manage our advertising on other sites]. Our third-party partners may use cookies or similar technologies in order to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. If you wish to opt out of interest-based advertising, you may visit the  the Digital Advertising Alliance's (“DAA”) Consumer Opt-Out Link to opt-out of receiving tailored advertising from companies that participate in those programs. Updating your information and other choices

Updating Information: In order to ensure that the information we maintain is accurate, you may access certain of your information and delete, change, or modify that information in accordance with applicable laws by editing your user profile or by contacting us at privacy@orolabs.ai.

Marketing Emails: To opt out of marketing e-mail communications, you may click the “unsubscribe” link in the marketing e-mails.

Cookies & Analytics: You can opt out of certain cookie-related and analytics processing by following the instructions in this Privacy Policy.


Nevada Residents: Under Nevada law, certain Nevada consumers may opt out of the sale of “personally identifiable information” for monetary consideration (as such terms are defined by Nevada law) to a person for that person to license or sell such information to additional persons. We do not engage in such activity.’

We may need to request additional information from you to verify your identity, confirm your authority to act on behalf of another person, or understand the scope of your request.

We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law. If we need more time, we will notify you as required. In some cases, we may be unable to fulfill your request, in whole or in part, because of a legal exception or obligation. If we deny your request, we will explain the reason where required by law.

Appeals

Data retention

We will retain your information for as long as needed to continue offering the Services to you or until you delete or modify your information.
